a fall baby shower

On Saturday we celebrated with Bethany the impending arrival of her baby.  She (like a crazy woman) won’t find out the sex so we were left with no pink or blue direction to go in (which truthfully is more fun anyway, yes i’m admitting it)  Enjoy the overload of pictures

a Thanksgiving to remember

While I love tradition as much as the next person – tradition has not found us during Thanksgiving.  Many times the same meal will appear (dressing, turkey, green beans, etc.) but the company is rarely the same.  As our families have grown, our lives have become busy and not everyone can travel so we are left to join whomever will have us or have our own small Thanksgiving.  This year, Arre & Matt graciously (and stylishly with adorable invites) asked us to join them along with a mixture of her family, our in-laws, and my parents for a Thanksgiving feast at their newly renovated (and just now – recently moved into) new home.

There are 5 children involved in the mix (all of which are girls) which always makes a meal more fun!

The framed print on the mantel is a replica of the invites (or vice versa)

DId I mention her house was completely empty besides tables & chairs brought in it looked fabulous!

I am only posting one picture of Arre talking with her hands arms but take my word for it – there are many

Albany: We can’t thank you enough for the support you continue to show year after year. The show this year was a blast and we were excited to hear your feedback on some of our newer items.    Enjoy the pictures and thank you again!

wall of frames

So I have a few hours left kid free and instead of getting my house (which looks like a disaster right now) ready for our show tomorrow.. I am writing a blog post because I am so excited and anxious (about what all needs to be done!) but just want to show you this…

051

it may change a few (hundred) times between now and the show (32 hours away!) But I would love for this to be my wall always – (this is how it normally is) although the spacing is a bit off of what I normally like (i’m not allowed to hammer any more holes into this wall – enforced by me) I still love the stripes, and gold.  These are all for sale and will be at the show…but I keep staring at it thinking of how I love it :)  See you soon!!

(more) show details

Our fourth annual holiday gift market is a mere days away and as you know, we've been rushing around like crazies getting ourselves ready. We're not the only ones though.

Abby is hard at work in Savannah preparing her dazzling jewels for the Albany set!

Helping her come this final stretch is her faithful companion (and my mom's beloved grand-dog), Buckley:

doesn't she look so motivated!?

I can't wait to see more of what she's come up with this year.

Maybe I'll get to pick out a piece for an upcoming birthday ;) Or at least wear as many pieces as I can get away for the duration of the show - that's how it usually goes!

See you soon, sweet sis!
xx
