bring on the party!

Christmas really did a number on my house.  A number so big that it wouldn’t even be cute or funny to post a picture of it on the blog. I’ll get to it.  Well evenutally. Maybe. But instead of undoing the mess I’m diving into this…
a carnival birthday party for Molly.

here’s a glimpse at the invites (still a work in progress).  I promise to post something frame-related next week, after my house is clean.  Arre & I keep reminding each other that next week..yes, next week, we’re jumping right back into the world of old wood and a fun new project!

starting to feel a lot like Christmas…

finally!

Do you know the saying “it takes a village to raise a child?”  Well, it is a bit more fitting for me to say it takes a village to be ready for Christmas day.  It has really crept up on us this year but I finally have stockings hung (thank you mother-in-law for the burlap idea), ginger bread dough ready for baking (thanks arre), and santa gifts ready for little fingers to pry open (thanks to my mom), and thanks to my husband for being able to track down 2 old school desks with very short notice (the girls will love them!).

And THANKS to all of YOU for the great response to our inventory posts  – we will be starting a new production at the beginning of the new year – can’t wait to see what 2010 has in store for s t e w a r t & j a m e s!

stewart & james holiday gift-away :: week five

i'm not the only one celebrating around here. in honor of ourselves... or ... each other, rather ;) this week are gifting away a few of our favorite things!











that's right. after careful consideration we determined that wine and cupcakes are (some of) our favorite things! So, we're gifting Sprinkles for Williams-Sonoma cupcake mix and set of two Riedel O series wine glasses!

we saw santa last night!!

like really saw him. through the computer. and are SO excited....

Christmas {MOVIE} Challenge

I do believe Christmas is, in fact, the most wonderful time of the year. I always have. Last year, however, I had the hardest time getting in to it. It's happening again now.
